How to Cancel NOW (formerly NOW TV) in the UK

Whether you’ve got Entertainment, Cinema, Sports, Hayu, or Boost/Ultra Boost, here’s exactly how to cancel NOW TV, plus what to do if you joined via Apple, Google Play, Roku, or EE TV.

1) First: confirm who bills you

Open your NOW account and check My Account → Membership. If you see a note that you’re billed by Apple/iTunes, Google Play, Roku, or EE TV, you must cancel with that provider (steps below). If it’s billed by NOW directly, use the NOW site/app.

2) If you pay NOW directly

  1. Go to My Account → Membership.

  2. Select the membership you want to stop → Cancel membership → follow the prompts.

  3. You’ll see a confirmation on-screen and receive a confirmation email (usually within ~3 hours). Your access continues until the end of the paid period.

On “Monthly Saver” / minimum-term deals

You can submit a cancellation any time, but it won’t take effect until the end of your minimum term. After that, auto-renew stops.

3) If you subscribed via a partner

  • Apple (iPhone/iPad/Mac)
    iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → NOW → Cancel.
    Mac: App Store → Account → Subscriptions → Manage → Cancel. Access runs to period end.

  • Google Play (Android / web)
    Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NOW → Cancel (or cancel at play.google.com/subscriptions). Access runs to period end.

  • Roku Pay
    Manage at my.roku.com/subscriptions (or via the * key on your Roku remote → Manage subscription → Cancel).

  • EE TV (formerly BT Consumer)
    Cancel in the EE app or by calling EE. Changes take effect at the end of the 30-day period; no refunds for part-months.

Reminder: Uninstalling the app doesn’t cancel—you must cancel through NOW or your billing provider. (Apple/Google/Roku support pages above.)

4) Boost & Ultra Boost (ad-free/HD/4K add-on)

  • If you cancel your last active Month Membership, NOW will automatically cancel Boost/Ultra Boost too.

  • Exception: If you’re billed by Apple, you must cancel Boost/Ultra Boost with Apple separately.

  • Free trials auto-renew (Boost £6/m, Ultra Boost £9/m) unless you cancel before trial end.

5) Sports Day vs Month, access & renewals

  • Sports Day Membership gives 24-hour access; Sports Month auto-renews monthly unless you cancel.

  • Stopping, pausing, or restarting doesn’t extend your paid access period; if a membership doesn’t renew, content stops at expiry.
