How to Cancel Ashley Madison (UK) Subscription, Auto-Renew & Account Deletion

Want to stop charges or remove your profile? Here’s a clear guide to (1) cancel any recurring subscription/auto-renew, and (2) deactivate or delete your Ashley Madison account.

1) First, confirm who bills you

  • If you purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel in your phone’s subscriptions settings (see steps below).

  • If you paid directly on AshleyMadison.com, manage recurring payments in your account or contact Customer Service via the site’s Virtual Assistant.

2) Stop auto-renew / recurring charges

A) If you’re billed by Ashley Madison (website)

  • Log in on the web and review Billing/Payments to manage or cancel any recurring plan. If you can’t find a cancel toggle, use the Virtual Assistant to request cancellation and confirmation.

B) If you’re billed via Apple (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Ashley Madison → Cancel Subscription.

  2. Access continues until the current period ends.

C) If you’re billed via Google Play (Android)

  1. Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ashley Madison → Cancel.

  2. Access continues until the current period ends.

3) Deactivate vs Delete your account

  • Deactivate (temporary): Hides your profile and pauses activity. You can ask to reactivate later (e.g., within 12 months) via Customer Service.

  • Delete (permanent): Removes your profile/data and can’t be undone. To delete, go to Account/Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts (web/app). If you don’t see the option, contact support.

  • Call customer service on 866-742-2218

4) Refunds & key policies (quick facts)

  • No refunds for unused subscription time as standard; see T&Cs for any exceptions and local rights.
